WP7: updates ready : I Got Updated
This being my first post from my windows phone 7 WordPress app, had to be something special. It was just confirmed on the windows team blog for windows phone that the first updates to the wp7 devices will be sent out today. This is not the copy & paste update which is much awaited, but is a essential update to the update service on the windows phone 7. Other updates will soon follow.

WP7 : HTC HD7 Unboxing
Htc HD7 is among the few launched Windows Phone 7 devices. Some of the others that are now available in India are the HTC Mozart & Samsung Omnia 7. So today we are going to see the Unboxing pictures of the new HTC HD7. Before these pictures letme put some things into place. HTC HD7 being a Windows Phone 7 device does not share the common HTC Sense platform that other devices previously had. This and other WP7 family devices share a Unique Tile based UI that is developed by Microsoft. A detailed review and a reality run will also be posted in a little while.

Using Remote Media Streaming : Windows 7
Windows Media Center has been a very cool product with Windows. Whether we talk about Windows XP MCE or Media Center Included in Windows Vista or Windows 7. There are some features in Windows Media Center that enables us to record live TV and watch it later. But there is another feature called the Remote Media Streaming that is Included. I will tell you how to make use of it.

Windows 7 Thin PC in 2011
It is expected that by the end of March this year, Microsoft will offer a new tailored version of Windows 7 to suit the customers needs. This will be intended for VDI ( Virtual Desktop Infrastructure envoirnment. Right now, Microsoft has not provided a specific availability deadline for the Windows Thin PC but it is expected that WinTPC will go on a wider testing phase by the end of this month.
