This seems to be a hardware issue, but it might be a driver conflict as the touchpad gets heated up when there is continued usage for hours & a driver conflict can simulate that. i would suggest you to update your drivers for the touchpad & if that does not solve your problem, get your laptop checked at the service center. & 64 bit windows wont help in this matter. If you do want to upgrade to 64 bit, you can... btw how much RAM you got ? any upgrades ? hi Anand !
