More on Windows phone Starter edition from Microsoft
Windows Phone 7 was formally announced at MWC about a week ago, which is expected to land in the market with handsets nearly in september. With that Windows phone 6 Starter edition SKU was also revealed. Now more information on that has been unveiled by Microsoft. The Windows Phone 6 Starter edition will have two variants, one with Office Mobile and one without it. A spokesperson from Microsoft cleared that the current version of Office mobile will be included in the SKU, that is the Office Mobile 2010 which is in beta phase right now.
“The Windows Phone 6 Starter Edition SKU is offered in multi-language versions with and without Microsoft Office Mobile and supports 2G (GSM), 2.5G (CDMA2000 xRTT, EDGE, GPRS), CDMA (Rev A, EV-DO Revision A), and TD-SCDMA radios,” was claimed by the spokesperson. but no information on pricing was made available.
