New Microsoft Online Services Sign-in out now
Microsoft has updated an application that users can turn to in order to access the company’s Online Services. Microsoft Online Services Sign-In for Windows has been bumped up a notch, with a couple of problems reported by users fixed by the refresh. The updated Online Services Sign-In application is currently available via the Microsoft Download Center, and the company recommends that customers running the previous versions of the app should make sure to download and install version 1.0.1427.040.
“Machines running Windows XP may experience problems connecting to Microsoft Online Services, which may manifest with the following error message displayed in the Sign-In application: ‘Unable to connect to Microsoft Online Services. You must be connected to the Internet to use the services.’ Machines running Office Outlook in languages other than English may display Outlook folder names in English,” Englis stated.
If you are currently leveraging the Sign-In application from Microsoft, you can easily check the version information. All you need to do is select the “About” tab in the Sign-In application, and then locate the bit of info “Current version: x.x.xxxx.xxx.” Upgrading as soon as possible will ensure that you don’t come across any glitches, or that any problems you might have stumbled across will be resolved. “Customers who downloaded and installed version 1.0.1423.65 of the Sign-In application and experience either of these issues should install the new version 1.0.1427.040 (or later) of the Sign-In application, which can be obtained from the Microsoft Download Center,” Englis added.
