The Early Adopters of this operating system still running the Build 7100 will be getting the notifications informing them of the due expiration of their copy of windows 7. It is also been told that Microsoft will be sendingout seperate emails to the users notifying about the RC release expiry. Many of the users have migrated to the RTM build 7600, but for those of you still on the RC build its time to upgrade.

As per the official RC expiry process is concerned, it will begin on March 1st 2010, it will eventually expire on 1st June 2010. These Windows RC  copies are actually time-bombed to expire on the due date. After this due date the windows 7 RC copies will start shutting down every two hours and your work or files wont be saved, the wallpaper will be changed to a Solid black background with a message on your desktop that your windows is not genuine. Following the lead as compared to the non-genuine windows your PC will no longer be covered under the updates program.
