WordPress 3.0
WordPress 3.0 is not available for general public to download and install, those are running their blogs on wordpress and using the automatic upgrade plugin, should already be seeing the Upgrade to 3.0 banner. WordPress 3.0 is beleived to be feature packed and to come with a lot of bug fixes and enhancements. The only thing that concerns me is the spam comments, Even after using Akismet, the previous release gave a lot of Spam comments.
This release of wordpress offers are new default theme, twenty-ten, custom post types , the merger with wordpress multi-user and menu management. WordPress 3.0 is beleived to be a major release as it has fixed over 1200 bugs and given a lot of updates. The dashboard is polished and user will feel a greater experience blogging. I hope to enjoy that. Going right to upgrade now.
